Bob Martin Sr was asked to speak at the October 2003 meeting of the Georgia
Microscopical Society, after which he was presented with the GMS Honorary Achievement
Award for his Dedication to the Education and Advancement of
Microscopy. We'd like to thank all of our friends at GMS for their
