I recently had the
opportunity to visit the "Wild Man of Long Island" (who will
remain anonymous unless I receive his permission to use his name).
This Swiss gentleman retired from the Wild Heerbrugg company about 20
years ago, and has been our "secret agent" in getting Wild
microscopes professionally serviced and repaired for many years.
He's now retiring for good and has passed on to me the tools of the
trade and a small portion of his vast knowledge of Wild
microscopes. I will endeavor to make good use of both, and I thank
the gentleman and wish him well in his retirement.
