Meiji Techno Microscopes
|
Meiji Techno, Japan, is best
known for their excellent stereomicroscopes. The EMZ5 is a modern
classic, basically unchanged for the last 20 years, and still a top
seller. Martin Microscope Company has been a dealer for Meiji since
the mid-1980's, and can truly say that Meiji is a fine company with
which to do business. The owner of Meiji Techno, Mr. Sato, paid us
a visit in 2003 to recognize us as Meiji's largest dealer in the Eastern
US (more).
Meiji's quality control is top-notch, and the
few repairs that are needed are handled quickly and often under warranty
since Meiji offers a Lifetime Warranty on all their microscopes.
Recently, Meiji has expanded their EMZ line of stereomicroscopes, and is
beginning to introduce new compound microscopes as well. Their new
MT4000 series are the last student microscopes available still made in
Japan (as far as we know), since Leica, Nikon, Olympus, & Zeiss student
scopes are all made in China, India, the Philippines, etc. We're
quite pleased with the high quality of the MT series in general, and the
new U Plan objectives on the MT5000 are superb. Meiji has also just
unveiled a newly expanded website at www.meijitechno.com.
Below are some featured Meiji
microscopes:
