All MM Series Adapters now include fittings for 23mm & 30mm ID tubes and 1x C-Mounts!

Originally introduced in 1999, the Martin Microscope MM Series adapters allow high quality digital images to be easily acquired from virtually any microscope; hence they are "universal" with respect to the microscope.  However, they are specific with respect to the cameras for which they are designed.  These adapters are designed and manufactured by Martin Microscope Company.  While other folks talk about "acceptable levels of vignetting", our MM adapters completely eliminate vignetting utilizing the cameras' optical zoom.  You'll sometimes find MM adapters (possibly with different designations) offered by various other microscope sales websites.  Typically, these are dealers who buy our adapters with a quantity discount for resale.  We fully support these dealers and warranty those products, but if you're buying from one of our dealers, make sure you're getting an original Martin MM adapter.

How they work:
All MM series adapters consist of a multi-element relay Lens which threads onto the digital camera, and Spacers to fit in place of the microscope eyepiece.  The MM Series Adapters will fit in place of any 23mm or 30mm eyepiece or photoeyepiece.  However, to use these adapters on a trinocular microscope's photoport which does not accept a 23mm or 30mm photoeyepiece requires an additional phototube OR a 1x C-Mount adapter.  Click here for a listing of common C-mount and phototube conversion adapters...
