Zeiss / aus Jena Laboval 2 Pol, Used

The Laboval 2 Pol is a true polarizing microscope with all the features one would expect such as a centerable nosepiece for each objective, DIN compensator slot with first order red compensator, focusing crosshair eyepiece, Bertrand lens, circular pol stage with X/Y attachment, etc.  The stage is incredibly smooth and precise, an engineering masterpiece.  We sold a classroom full of these to Clemson University Geology Department back in the late 1980s, and this is one of those that's been traded back to us.  It has been professionally repaired and refurbished, and all parts are correct and original.  A rare jewel of a microscope!
