Carl Zeiss, Jena, Jenaval with DIC optics and Plan Achromat objectives. This microscope has been professionally serviced and provides outstanding DIC transmitted light images for biological samples. We've added a new M4KHD2 camera and 0.63x C-mount adapter to create a Digital Microscopy System that will produce excellent images and includes software for Z-stacking / EDF, as shown in the mite image taken with this system. And, we've discounted the system to under $10K.
