T-mount Adapter Field-of-View Comparison

Here we present some field-of-view (FOV) comparison photos of a diatom taken with a Leica DMR research microscope with DIC, and a Canon EOS Rebel T3i DSLR camera with APS-C sensor at an optical magnification of 400x.  These four images are taken with four different T-mount Adapters: no lens at all (1x) which shows considerable vignetting (black corners), our MDSLR-HC 1.38x Widefield adapter, the Optem ST16 1.6x adapter, and the Diagnostic  DE20 2x adapter.  These images have been reduced to only 10% of their original 18MP size for easier download speeds, but the field of view comparison remains valid.
